Our Members

The members of Good Shepherd are warm and friendly folks of all ages and backgrounds.  We love to extend a welcoming smile to all who walk in the doors.  We're not perfect (that's why we go to church each Sunday!) and we're not all snazzy dressers.  We're real, ordinary people!  We invite you to come, visit us, and enjoy the warmth and love of our Christian family!

Pastor Spomer has been the pastor of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church since August 2002. He moved here from Evansville, Indiana. Previously he was pastor at Concordia Lutheran Church for 12 years. He graduated from Mankato State University in Minnesota with degrees in Philosophy and Law Enforcement, and received his Master of Divinity degree from Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, Indiana.  Pastor Spomer enjoys target shooting, muscle cars, and kissing schnauzers on the nose.

The Church Council is made up of church members who serve as officers and on committees that manage the operation of the church.

Good Shepherd is fortunate to have many members who enjoy sharing their talents as musicians, ushers, acolytes, and on the Altar Guild to make our worship not only reverent, but lovely and uplifting.
