There are two ushers at each service at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. The ushers are appointed by the Board of Elders. Ushers perform such duties as:

• Helping worshipers find suitable seats;

• Assisting in receipt of tithes and offerings;

• Guiding the congregation to partake in Holy Communion;

• Assuring that temperature and lighting are at appropriate levels;

• Providing additional seating, if necessary; and

• Answering any questions and aiding any worshiper who needs assistance.
