  • The President:

    • encourages and helps the elected and appointed officers, boards, and committees carry out their respective duties and resolutions of the Voters’ Assembly;

    • prepares agendas for and presides at Church Council and congregational meetings

    • is a nonvoting member of all boards and committees, personally attending or designating the vice-president to attend meetings necessary;

    • encourages the submission of written board and committee reports to Council and the congregation;

    • sees that necessary committees are appointed; and

    • with the help of others , encourages and arranges opportunities for leadership training.

  • Vice President:

    • The Vice-President performs the duties of the president in his absence, his disability, or at his request, and other duties as determined by the Church Council or Voters’ Assembly.

  • The Secretary:

    • Records the proceedings of the Church Council and Voters’ Assembly;

    • Registers all members attending the meetings and submits minutes at the following meeting;

    • Is the custodian of all church records pertaining to his/her office and at the expiration of his/her term of office shall deliver them to his/her successor; and

    • Performs such other duties as may be delegated to him/her by the Voters’ Assembly.

    The Financial Secretary:

    • Is responsible for the prompt counting, recording, and safe depositing of all monies received;

    • Provides regular contribution statements to all contributors;

    • Requests and compiles, on behalf of the Board of Stewardship all budget requesting for submission to the Church Council; and

    • Is an ex officio voting member of the Board of Stewardship.

  • The Treasurer:

    • Pays all authorized bills;

    • Keeps accurate records of the receipts and disbursements of the congregation in books which shall be and remain the property of the congregation;

    • All books shall be audited annually by the Stewardship Board, of which the Treasurer is an ex officio voting member; and

    • Report of such audit shall be submitted to the congregation.
